The Fighting Cocks is located on the edge of the village of Middleton St. George in an affluent area close to the border of North Yorkshire. Darlington is the nearest large centre of population approximately 5 miles to the North West.The public bar is open plan and has been tastefully refurbished but retains its traditional character. Trade is a good split which is estimated to be 60% dry and 40% wet. There is a good solid core of local drinkers including the local football team and squash club.
